We started with a simple frustration: care that looked good on paper but felt impersonal in the living room. So we built a provider where compliance and compassion are the same job.
North West Health & Care was founded in Rochdale by care professionals who had seen both sides of the sector — the providers that cut corners, and the families who paid the price. We set out to prove that a care company can grow across four city regions without losing the thing that matters most: knowing the people it serves.
Today our teams support families and provider partners across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, South Yorkshire and the Humber. Our head office remains where we started — because we believe accountability should have an address.
Our Registered Manager is accountable to the Care Quality Commission for the safety and quality of every service we deliver. Behind them sits a governance framework of monthly audits, quarterly board-level quality reviews and an open incident-reporting culture.
Every member of the care team receives paid induction, Care Certificate training, a DBS renewal programme, annual refreshers through our LMS, regular supervision and a clear path from Care Assistant to Senior to Coordinator. Retaining great people is our quality strategy.
We hold framework-ready policies, evidence-based quality data and full workforce compliance records, available on request for tendering and contract monitoring.
